Crown Easyclean Matt Emulsion

Crown Easyclean Matt Emulsion is a water-based emulsion paint, for use on a range of interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, wood and metal. Independently tested and proven to be the best product for stain and scrub resistance, making it ideal for busy hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.

For best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants.

1. Remove all loose and defective paint with a paint scraper, by sanding, or with a paint stripper
2. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead
3. Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt, grease and powdery or dusty residues
4. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry
5. Any surface defects should be filled with an appropriate filler
6. If required, rub down surfaces and then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove dust
7. Seal all surfaces that remain powdery after thorough preparation with an appropriate plaster sealer

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

Use only in well ventilated areas.

For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient paint for each project including enough for touch-in at a later time.

1. Stir the paint thoroughly before and periodically during use
2. Apply 2 - 3 coats of Crown Easyclean Paint using a good quality synthetic brush or microfibre roller
3. Allow 4 hours drying time between coats
4. For significant colour change, further coats may be required

To maintain the finish, simply apply a fresh coat of Crown Easyclean Matt Emulsion, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.

Crown paints say that this emulsion is 200 times tougher and more washable than their standard matt emulsions paint. This makes it an ideal choice for busy environments where walls are likely to come into contact with dirt, splashes, and general day-to-day contact with people and pets.

Absolutely! This is a great option for internal doors. If the doors are bare wood, you'll need to use a suitable primer such as Crown Wood and MDF Primer and Undercoat. If the doors are veneered, be sure to check with the manufacturer before application.
