Preparation
Decking boards to be cleaned should be free from loose dirt, debris, leaves and twigs. Sweep the decked area with a stiff broom or brush to remove all loose matter before cleaning.
Application
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.
Mixing Guidelines
Using a watering can, add the decking cleaner to water. The mix of cleaner to water depends on the amount of soiling on the surface. For a light concentration, mix 125ml of cleaner to 10L of water; for a heavy concentration, mix 250ml of cleaner with 10L of water.
How to Clean Decking
- Once diluted, pour solution over surface and scrub using a stiff brush
- Leave for 15-20 minutes
- Scrub the surface again before rinsing with clean water
- Continue rinsing until all foam has been removed
Please Note: Avoid direct contact of Barrettine Super Concentrated Decking Cleaner with plants and garden ornaments.
Aftercare
For general maintenance of garden decking, sweep decking boards with a stiff broom or decking brush to remove any loose dirt or debris, and treat with Barrettine Super Concentrated Decking Cleaner as and when required.
