Protek Timber ECO Shield

Easy to apply but darker than I expected. I have also used the brown product and that looks like black on the san timber I have applied this to.

I used this for the 1st time on a new fence and was very pleased with the finished look . Will be buying another tin to give a second coat. I used this with a spray gun .Excellant

The Eco Shield is like water so needs to applied sparingly to the brush to save waste. Pleased with the colour Golden Oak, the coverage and protection and end result are brilliant, I would highly recommend this product.

Good product easy application and the finish looks good

Have used Protek Timber shields before and never been disappointed. First time using the Weathered Wood effect - brilliant! Definitely lives up to its name - shed now looks like it's from the wild west!!

Good quality, easy to use and very effective

Applied this where wood did not need colour adding but needed protection - used in tandem with Protek wood preserver and water just sitting on benches after rain.

Leaves a nice charcoal black finish on the wood. Waterproofing seems excellent on our outdoor cabinet. Watery mix makes it easy to apply.

Coverage is fantastic and a great waterproof finish for your external timber projects, used this on many external timber jobs now and we will only use this product from now on.

Easy to apply and great water displacement properties, exactly the same colour as tanalised treated timbers shop brought (ie fence panels, feather edge boards, fence posts etc) so if you are wanting to match up the same colour this is the one for you. Great water repellent ?

Tbh I’ve not been able to test this product weather wise as it’s been too wet to build my chickens Jungle Gym outside! (Yes I know, I’m a real saddo when it comes to my girlies! Lol) But it’s extremely easy to paint on as it’s really thin. I chose to use the clear one which in hind sight is probably not the best colour to put on because it’s as thin as water so soaks in straight away. But it really is a doddle to use, and then just wash the brush in a bit of soapy water. I bought a litre tin and I’ve put it on the whole of the gym, and two coats on the bottom of it that will sit of the floor, and I’ve only used half a tin. I’ve thrown a bit of water at it to see what it does and it just sat on top of the wood then slid off when I tipped the wood up.

When I first opened the tin I thought what thin paint, it's not what I imagined. However, it is very easy to appy and the finish is a lovely matt. Best of all it's safe for horses.

Excellent paint coverage and an instant waterproof coat. Used to use another brand twice the price and this is just as good

Wanted a stain for dog kennel but wanted to be confident in its suitability and safety for my dog. After much research I came across this product and am very happy with the coverage and finish- providing a waterproof coating which I’m sure will last a long time.

This is an excellent product and although a bit expensive it’s worth every penny - l would highly recommend

This is the second purchase of this product. Very easy to use. We sprayed the stain onto garden fence panels. Very effective and true to colour illustrated. Took about 5 mins to spray each panel one coat. Good coverage.

Excellent product, easy to apply accurate colour have used before and found it lasts well

The quality of the paint is good but it was darker than expected with a second coat - now looks black rather than dark green which is what we had wanted

It is too early to judge the protective qualities of Protek Timber ECO Shield but it is easy to apply and dries quickly and enhances the natural look of the wood.

Does as it says...Great water repellent
