Manns 147 Natural Decking Brush is perfect for the application of Decking Oil, Decking Stain, Decking Preservers, and other solvent-based, low viscosity products..

The robust metal handle can be used with a standard wooden broom handle and many other types of extendable handles (not included). If however your handle doesn't fit securely, some masking tape or insulation tape may be required around the end of the handle so that it fits securely to the decking brush head.

Please note: The Manns 147 Natural Decking Brush is NOT compatible with the Woodleys Lightweight Extension Pole.

Preparation

Ensure that the Manns 147 Natural Decking Brush is clean and dry before use to avoid cross contamination of products. If not, use an appropriate cleaner and allow to dry thoroughly before use.

Aftercare

After using the Manns 147 Natural Decking Brush, clean with an appropriate cleaner as per the cleaning instructions specified on the applied product tin.

As a guide, water based products can normally be cleaned with warm soapy water, solvent based products usually require cleaning with white spirit or a dedicated paint brush cleaner.

Brush head connection poor

This brush was expensive and I expected the connection to allow an easy way of securing to a handle, but it is basically a “push fit” connection and I had to use gaffer tape to secure mine. The brush itself is fine but cleaning is equally difficult. This should have been easier to make it more useable.

Saves me so much time

This brush has allowed me to stop applying my decking protection on my hands and knees. It is so easy to use and has cut the time in half. I also use it to add protective coating to natural stone paving. Simple to wash clean, ready for the next job.

Does what it claims

A good product very well made although quite expensive to buy. I suppose the price reflects the quality of the product. It would be better if it came with a pole so it would be ready for immediate use.
