Liberon Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer

Liberon Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer is a highly effective sealer for protecting interior and exterior terracotta, slate, York stone, ceramic (including porous / non-glazed ceramic tiles), marble and other porous stone flooring.

Endorsed by the Guild of Master Craftsmen, Liberon Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer feeds and seals natural and man-made stone slab and tile floors. When applied, the sealer enhances the natural colour of the stone whilst also reducing crumbling and dusting of the substrait.

Please Note: This product is not suitable for use on previously oiled surfaces.

• For other bare interior wood such as furniture and MDF, consider a suitable wood primer or sealer

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and any other surface contaminants prior to applying Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer.

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

1. Apply Stone Floor Sealer generously with a synthetic paint brush or lint-free cloth and allow to dry for one hour
2. Check if the surface is properly sealed by dropping a small amount of water onto the floor
3. Leave for 10-15 minutes and if the water remains on the surface then enough sealer has been applied; if not then further coats of sealer are required
4. Repeat application and testing until the surface is properly sealed
5. The number of coats required will depend upon the porosity of the stone
6. Allow the final coat of sealer to dry for 24 hours before floors receive foot traffic

Maintenance

Inspect annually and test water repellency by placing a drop of water on the surface. If the water sits on top of the surface and doesn't get absorbed, the product is still working adequately. If the water gets absorbed into the surface, simply re-coat with one fresh coat of Liberon Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer.
