Earthborn Eggshell No.17 Paint is suitable for use on interior wooden doors, window frames, furniture, shelving, skirting boards and other smooth planed wooden surfaces and more.
Please Note: Earthborn Eggshell No. 17 Paint is not recommended for floors or other heavy-duty surfaces. This product was previously called 'Earthborn Eggshell paint'.
Surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free from all traces of dust, dirt and any other surfaces contaminants.
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
Because Earthborn Eggshell paint is a natural product, there may be subtle variations in shade between batches. For this reason, avoid starting a new tin in the middle of a project. If a project is likely to require several tins, pour the required number of tins into a single container and mix thoroughly.
Colours within the Earthborn Eggshell range can be inter-mixed to create a variety of colour shades and tones.
For a Shabby Chic look, try applying a contrasting base coat followed by your chosen top coat colour, then gently sand back areas to reveal the colour beneath.
Surfaces should be wipeable after about 10 days. If marked, gently wipe down with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. It is also often possible to remove surface marks using a pencil eraser or very fine emery paper.
To maintain the finish, simply apply a fresh coat of Earthborn Eggshell No. 17 Paint as required, following the Application instructions above.
Q. Is Earthborn Eggshell No 17 suitable for use on old reclaimed 1970's furniture?
