Ciranova Fortico 2C

Ensure that surfaces to be treated are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt or any other surface contaminants.

1. Make sure that all old finish coats are completely removed and the wood is free from dust and other dirt
2. Sanding using the correct method, deep sanding with 60-80-100 grit then sanding with 100 grit
3. Can be used on sanded, planed and brushed wood
4. For a lighter finish, Ciranova Woodlook Plus can be used as a primer first
5. For floor heating, exotic wood types and cork, the Ciranova Fortico Sealer is recommended as a primer

Ciranova Fortico 2C is a 2 component PU water-based lacquer that has been specifically developed for heavy traffic parquet floors, such as commercial spaces, hotels, and restaurants. It is extremely scratch-resistant and does not burnish and can be easily applied without overlapping or roller imprints. Fortico 2C can be used as a primer and finishing coat.

For an invisible, natural finish the natural - ultra matt variation is recommended.

Ciranova Fortico 2C can be used both as a primer and as a finishing coat. It can be applied in three coats.

1. Mix the waterborne finish with the hardener at 10 to 1 (10%)
2. Let the product settle for 15 minutes
3. Appy the product using a brush or short-pile roller
4. Apply the first coat in the direction of the wood
5. After 4 hours apply a second coat in the same way as the first
6. Let it dry for 6 hours and afterwards do an intermediate sanding using grit 180 - 220, make dust-free and apply the third coat

Drying Times

1. Dust dry: after 20 to 30 minutes
2. Sandable: after 4 to 6 hours
3. Lightly walkable: after 24 hours
4. Fully cured: 7 days

The drying times strongly depend on the amount applied, the surrounding temperature, the humidity and ventilation.

Ciranova Fortico 2C can be used as both a primer and finishing coat.

For regular maintenance it is recommended to use Ciranova Hard Floor Fresh. Use Ciranova Unicare X-Matt for periodic maintenance use. Ciranova Hard Floor Cleaner is used for cleaning highly soiled floors and to remove old layers of polish.
