Overview
Barrettine Driveway, Decking and Patio Cleaner is an effective, ready-to-use treatment that rids driveways, patios and decking of mould and algae. Removes mould, fungi and algae from decking and other hard surfaces whilst cleaning general dirt and grime from the surface. Can be used as a maintenance or pre-treatment on wooden decking prior to applying a decking oil.

Preparation
Before applying Barrettine Decking and Patio Cleaner, remove as much surface dirt, debris and organic growth as possible with a scraper, stiff brush or broom.
Application
Always do a small test area before starting any project to assess performance and compatibility, and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times. Do not apply if rain is expected.
- Apply generously using a lint-free cloth, decking brush or spray applicator
- Ideally leave for 24 hours to maximise biocidal effect
- Wash any excess treatment with clean water
- Repeat if necessary for heavily contaminated areas
- The wood is now ready for finishing
Finishing
Once wood has been treated and cleaned with Barrettine Driveway, Decking and Patio Cleaner it is ready to be treated with a wood preserver to protect against future infestations and finished with an appropriate wood oil, paint or stain.

Q. Can I use Barrettine Decking and Patio Cleaner to remove the old decking stain or decking oil from my deck?
A. Unfortunately not. This product has been designed to clean and remove mould, algae and fungi. If you want to remove an existing decking stain or decking oil, you will need to jet wash the decking or use a decking finish stripper and remover.
