Woodleys Wax and Polish Remover

Removed dark stain very well, within 10 minutes the previous dark stain was gone. I’d definitely recommend this product.

Works well but yet to see if after wax removal the cabinet can be painted so can't give a full review.

Excellent anti slip solution for old solid oak block stairs. The oak stairs surface wax was removed with Woodleys wax and polish remover. Two thin layers of Osmo polyx anti slip stair oil were applied and each layer allowed to dry overnight. The old oak appearance improved with more depth of detail character. Now able to walk up and downstairs in socks without slipping. I was surprised how efficiently the Osmo anti slip oil works.

Great Product - as specified just what I needed

I was concerned that getting a wax finish off would be difficult. This was the only product I found that said it would do the job. It was great , worked really well and I would definitely recommend it.

This product really did do what it said on the tin. It removed all the wax on my wood skirting, architrave and doors. Using the finishing pads made the job a lot easier. Once cleaned after using the remover, the paint adhered to the wood just as if it was new timber. I would definitely recommend this product.

I stripped some doors with old wax on and this worked perfect.

Removed years of wax from wood panel long and left a good, smooth surface to paint. Did not use as much as I estimated from the information provided.

Did the job as well as could be hoped for

This product removed old Victorian floor varnish which could not be sanded, as it would get stuck on the sanding belt. It takes a bit of elbow grease with a wire brush, but does the trick!

This was my second order as I am removing wax and polish from 4 wardrobes in readiness for painting. Worked a treat, though the smell is pretty strong, so will leave 2 wardrobes until the Spring when all the windows can be open. Would highly recommend, my husband was amazed that it worked so well. He had been thinking of getting the furniture professionally dipped.

I found the best results were achieved by applying with an old lint free cloth leaving for a few minutes then using fine wire wool with more of the product on.

This product was extremely effective in removing old Briwax polish from a wardrobe prior to repainting it. I used wire wool and found the wood came clean with relatively little effort. I thoroughly recommend Manns wax polish remover.

Perfect for stripping wax off an old pine door.

Quality product that was easy to apply and worked quickly and well.

I applied the product with wire wool, as recommended. Dissolved much of the wax. I repeated the process but this doesn't remove the wax solution - needs washing to get rid of it. So it's a laborious procedure but works in the end.
