Woca Maintenance Gel

Woca Maintenance Gel is ideal for the maintenance of all types of previously oiled wood flooring, furniture and kitchen worktops. Will improve uv and factory oiled surfaces. Perfect for the upkeep and maintenance of floors previously treated with a 'natural' oil that is designed to retain the natural appearance of untreated, light coloured or non stained wood, white and extra white for white-oiled wood floors (or light grey), and walnut for tropical woods or dark stained oiled wood floors. Woca Maintenance Gel is fast drying, dust, dirt and moisture resistant.

Floors and areas to be treated should be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and any other surfaces contaminants.

1. Following the product instructions, thoroughly clean the area first, using Woca Intensive Wood Cleaner or Woca Intensive Wood Cleaner Spray
2. Allow to dry for at least 8 hours before applying the maintenance gel
3. If needed, lightly sand the surface taking care to remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

Ensure normal room temperature of 18-25°C and use only in well ventilated areas. Keep any aquariums and plants away from the environment where the product is being applied. This product is ready to use. Do not dilute.

1. Apply thinly with a clean application/buffing pad
2. Follow the direction of the wood grain, working in small sections as the gel is quick drying
3. A buffing machine can be used for areas larger than 10m²
4. Continue to work in until the gel has completely penetrated the surface, giving an even sheen
5. Wipe off any excess with a clean, lint-free cloth
6. If using a buffing machine for polishing, place a cotton cloth beneath the buffing pad
7. Allow surface to dry fully for 4 - 6 hours
8. A second coat, using less gel may be required on porous surfaces if it is not fully saturated

Surfaces are ready for use after 4 -6 hours, but will need to be protected from dirt and water for 2 to 3 days to prevent staining and discoloration.

Please note: If using on UV-oiled surfaces, ensure all excess gel is removed during the final polish

Regular Cleaning

Floors and surfaces can be cleaned weekly with a vacuum cleaner and using a dampened, cotton mop or cloth with Woca Natural Soap and Woca Natural Soap Spray. Do not use household detergents or bleaches as these will degrade the finish.

Maintenance

If floors and surfaces begin to look worn or tired over time, simply clean and refresh them on a monthly basis using Woca Oil Refreshing Soap or Woca Oil Refreshing Soap Spray.
