Repair Care DRY FIX® UNI is a quick drying, solvent free primer for the preparation of permanent repairs on all interior and exterior wood surfaces, such as windows, doors, stairs and furniture. It's unique colour control mixing system ensures the product is mixed correctly, by turning yellow when ready. Provides a suitable surface for subsequent over-coating with the BIO FLEX® and DRY FLEX® repair products.
Ensure that areas to be coated are clean, dry and free from surface dust and debris, removing any damaged and rotten wood from the area.
Always do a small test area before starting any project to assess performance and end result. Follow the manufacturers instructions on the container at all times.
Optimum application is achieved between 0°C and 35°C with good air movement and ventilation.
Please Note: Always wear suitable Protective clothing, goggles and Repair Care EASY.Q Disposable Nitrile Gloves.
Finish within 24 hours whilst pre-treatment is still tacky, using Repair Care DRY FLEX 1, Repair Care DRY FLEX 4 or Repair Care DRY FLEX 16.
Yes, this product can be used on many surfaces, excluding plastic.
Absolutely, the Dry Fix is great for a number of projects and substrates.
DRY FIX® is a primer coat of epoxy resin which is absorbed into the substrate creating a permanent bond between the substrate and DRY FLEX® repair. It is not a wood hardener and it is important to remove all decayed timber before applying DRY FIX®.
