Overview
Purdy Monarch XL Elite Brush has been designed for superior paint retention and cleaner lay off than a standard brush. Even though it has been designed for emulsion it also works exceptionally well with other oil or water based products, has a beaver tail style handle with the bristles being tipped and flagged.
Preparation
Before using the Purdy Monarch XL Elite Brush for the first time, it is beneficial to rinse the bristles with water to clean away any loose dust or filaments and then ensure any excess water is removed.
Aftercare
The Purdy Monarch XL Elite Brush can be cleaned with using the recommended methods from the manufacturer for the product that has been applied.
As a guide, water-based products can normally be cleaned with warm soapy water, and solvent-based products usually require cleaning with white spirit or a dedicated paint brush cleaner.
