Overview

This extra thick synthetic lambswool pad retains stain for quick coverage. Refill can be reused if thoroughly cleaned according to product guidelines.

Please Note: Prolonged contact with white spirit can degrade the pad on this applicator. We recommend a light rinse to help combat this issue. Covering the applicator with a carrier bag (or similar) when not in use also helps to prolong it's lifespan.

Preparation

Ensure that the refill pad is clean and dry before use to avoid cross contamination of products. If not, use an appropriate cleaner and allow to dry thoroughly before use.

Aftercare

After use, ensure that the pad is cleaned with an appropriate cleaner to preserve the pad and avoid cross contamination of products.

As a guide, water-based products can usually be cleaned using warm soapy water. Solvent-based products are normally cleaned with white spirit or a dedicated brush / pad cleaner, but keep in mind to only clean the surface and never fully submerge the pad in the cleaning solution. Always refer to the cleaning instructions on the tin of the product being applied.
