Osmo Garden Furniture Maintenance Kit

The Osmo Garden Furniture Maintenance Kit can be used for restoring garden furniture to its former brilliance and protecting it against weathering.

Osmo Garden Furniture Maintenance Kit contains:

• Osmo Wood Reviver Gel - a fast acting gel for restoring the natural colour of greyed exterior wood
• Osmo Teak Oil Spray - protects hardwood garden furniture from dirt and water ingress
• Stiff brush - for applying and working the gel into the surface of the wood grain
• Buffing fleece - for applying and working the Teak Oil into the wood

For larger projects or replacement materials, Osmo Wood Reviver Gel is available in larger sizes.

Garden furniture and other wooden surfaces to be treated should be clean, dry and free from surface dirt, debris and other contaminates.

1. Before treating, a light sanding or brushing with the supplied stiff brush is recommended to remove any ingrained surface dirt and debris
2. Any traces of mould, algae or moss should be removed with a scraper or stiff brush
3. Areas affected by green growth should be treated with Barrettine Mould and Mildew Cleaner prior to using Osmo Garden Furniture Maintenance Kit

Always do a test area before staring any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

Use the Osmo Reviver Gel first, before finishing the furniture with the Osmo Teak Oil Spray.

Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel

1. Apply the wood reviver gel to the garden furniture with the stiff brush provided
2. Scrub the gel in the direction of the grain working it in to the timber surface
3. After approximately 20 minutes rinse off with lots of clean water
4. Leave for up to 24 hours for the natural colour of the timber to return
5. For wood that has been grey / silver for a long period, a second application may be required
6. Allow 48 hours drying time before applying the Teak Oil

Osmo Teak-Oil Spray

1. Spray the teak oil approximately 25 cm away from the wood
2. Afterwards massage the oil into the garden furniture with the buffing fleece
3. Wipe away any excess oil with a lint-free cloth
4. Allow to dry for approximately 12 hours with good ventilation
5. Apply 2nd coat same as above

Maintenance

For general garden furniture maintenance, apply a maintenance coat of Osmo Teak Oil as and when required, usually 2 or 3 times per year. In the event that the wood turns grey / silver over time, repeat the application processes above, first applying Osmo Wood Reviver Gel, then the Teak Oil.
