Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner (8000)

Good product but a bit on the expensive side, would look for a cheaper alternative next time.

Unusually for me, I ordered the labelled brush cleaner. I normally rely on generic white spirit. Very pleased I did order this as it cleans brushes very well.

If you need to clean your brushes after using osmo you need this unfortunately! Unsure what it is to buy an alternative. Haven’t dared try other cleaners but tbh I never have much luck with brushes and oil, a few times I’ve tried my best and still the brush is stiff on the next use even with some neat detergent massaged in. I think it’s good to have the smaller size less hanging around in the cupboard, the foot print is the same as the 1l though. Like white spirit you can clean your brush and the pigment will settle out if you keep it sealed in a jar you can then reuse/it’s only slightly discoloured/throw out the dross at the base of the jar. I recommend having two jars of it..one “clean” one “dirty”, use the clean to clean your brush and then pour into the dirty to settle out.

Top Osmo brand product. Nice in a metal container rather than plastic.

Very expensive - I probably could have bought normal solvent for the same effect for way less money

Good product, but not sure if it offers much more than normal paint thinner for significantly less monet.

Bought this following a recommendation from a relative to use when cleaning Osmo oil from brushes. Very easy to use brings brushes back to life.
