Overview

The Mako Paint Stirrer is an invaluable aid for use with all liquids including paints, varnishes, wood stains, oils and more. One half of the paint stirrer has holes to enable liquid to pass through easily, which in turn helps to prevent paints and other liquids from spilling over the edge of the paint pot whilst stirring.

Preparation

Aftercare

After use, ensure that the Mako Paint Stirrer is cleaned with an appropriate cleaner. This will prevent cross contamination on the next project.

This little item did the job, as the decking oil supplied was very viscous and easy to stir, but it is made of light plastic so don’t expect more.

Great stirrer, lid-opener end doesn't last

Used as a paint-stirrer, this is an absolutely cracking little tool with a sturdy handle to grab and a design which really helps mix the contents of tins After using the other end to open a few paint lids (as it's designed to do) this end soon begins to break apart, so a dedicated metal tool would probably be better for more frequent lid-opening.

Made easy work of stirring my stain but the clip for hanging on the side of the pot did not fit my 2.5litre pot. It is quite fiddly to clean.

Done the job

Well what can you say, it stirs paint well and has a handy notch on it that latches over the can rim for storage. Idea if you are using a product that requires constant or regular agitation.
