Preparation
Ensure that wood surface to be filled is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and any other surface contaminants.
Application
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish.
- Scrape off some shavings from the wax, enough to fill the hole, and soften with your fingers
- Press into the crack or hole using a plastic scraper or other suitable tool
- Level down with the scraper and buff off the excess with a clean, lint-free cloth

Can I use Liberon Wax Filler Sticks on uPVC window frames for repairs?
It's hard to guarantee an exact match and every piece of timber varies in colour depending on age, grain depth and treatment. You could always try two shades as they can be mixed to create your own bespoke colour to help best match the uniqueness of your timber.
Can I use Liberon Wax Filler Sticks on uPVC window frames for repairs?
Liberon Wax Filler Sticks are not ideal for filling holes in uPVC windows. While they may work temporarily, they don't adhere well to the smooth, non-porous surface of uPVC and lack the durability and UV resistance needed for outdoor exposure. Over time, the filler may discolour, degrade, or loosen. For a more effective solution, consider using a specialized product like the Repair Care range.
