Please Note: Although this product is named 'Floor Surface Cleaner' it can be used on any surface treated with a Fiddes wood finish, including furniture, table tops and kitchen worktops.

Preparation

Remove all traces of loose dust, grit and dirt using a vacuum cleaner, scissor mop or by dry sweeping wood floors before cleaning with Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner.

Application

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

Add 2 caps of Fiddes Floor Cleaner to 4 litres of warm water
Apply evenly with a damp, lint-free cloth or mop, ensuring even application
Allow to dry thoroughly

Ok but expensive for what it is

I bought this as I had used Fiddes wax oil on my floors (which is amazing!). It does clean it and dries quickly but I donâ€™t think it gives much of a shine like I would expect. Itâ€™s very expensive for essentially a basic floor cleaner.

Nice cleaner, leaves wood shiny and rich looking

I bought the Fiddes cleaner to get building dust out of my solid oak flooring. It has got a nice smell and leaves the floor looking buffed up, but didn't remove all the dust, so have to repeat the procedure with a small brush maybe to get a better effect.

I can't believe how well this worked

Our floors had been laid about 18 months ago and treated with with Fiddes Wax Oil (Old English medium brown) and were looking a bit dull and dirty. I was contemplating having to wax again but tried this cleaner because of the good reviews. It was mopped on from a bucket and because the water beads a little on the surface, I went over it with a dry e-cloth to finish. Afterwards it looked cleaner and the wax seemed to have been revived. The cleaner was easy to use and is definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Would definitely buy again

I used the floor cleaner after sanding our oak floor boards and prior to using the Hard Wax Oil and it produced a great result. The boards looked really clean and natural.

Worked incredibly well

I used this product on an oiled oak engineered floor during a renovation of an old chapel.The floor was covered in general building dust and paint spots. I was re-oiling the floors and wanted to clean them up first. This product worked perfectly. The floors cleaned up really well and made the oiling process better. I will use this product again.

Works well

i used this product neat to clean up some kitchen unit doors prior to re-finishing them. it was gentle on the wood and tough on the dirt that had built up. i even used it to clean a stubborn mark off the vinyl floor with ease. brilliant product!
