Overview
Fiddes Floor Repair Kit is ideal for repairing dents, cracks and scratches in wooden flooring, laminate, wooden furniture, doors, door and window frames, architraves, skirting boards and more.
This kit comprises 4 mini wax filler sticks and a wax melter. Small amounts of the wax can be combined and mixed to achieve hundreds of shades making it easier to match the repair area with the colour of the surrounding wood.

Preparation
Ensure that surfaces to be repaired are clean, dry and free from all loose material and dust from around the damaged area.
Application
Melting
Melt the wax filler stick(s) with the heated melting knife and drop the melted wax filler into the damaged area until the scratch, hole or imperfection in the wood is slightly overfilled. The clear wax filler stick can be used to fill pressure indentations in the timber.
Levelling
When the wax filler has dried, use the grooved handle of the mini melter to plane the repaired area, removing any excess surface wax.
Fine Adjustment
To restore the grain pattern of the filled area, scratch the surface of the repaired area lightly with a pointed item, then re-fill with the grain shade (darker filling material).
Final Finish
Remove any final filler residues by polishing lightly with the grey Scotch Brite pad included in the kit.
