Overview
Earthborn Isolating Primer is perfect for priming and sealing walls before overcoating. It is ideal for treating stains, including crayon, graffiti, water stains, creosote, smoke stains, hand marks, asphalt etc, and helps to prevent them from bleeding through the new paintwork.

Preparation
Surfaces to be primed must be clean, dry and free from grease, dust, wax or any other contaminants.
- Remove any unsound paint from the surface to be treated with a scraper or paint stripper
- Where necessary surfaces should be lightly sanded back prior to priming
- Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner or damp cloth
Application
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish, including top-coat. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
Earthborn Isolating Primer should not be thinned as this will impair its performance. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C.
- Stir the primer well before and periodically during use.
- Apply the primer liberally and evenly with a good quality synthetic brushor microfibre roller
- Avoid overspreading the primer
- 1 coat should be sufficient but an additional coat may be required if staining is severe
- Allow 4 hours drying time between coats
Cleaning Equipment
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean all your decorating equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
Finishing
Once primed, surfaces are ready to be coated with any suitable Earthborn paint or other paint.
