Cuprinol Garden Furniture Teak Oil Spray. A nourishing teak oil spray for all hardwood garden furniture, to protect and nourish the wood and keep it looking at its best. Provides excellent weather resistance by restoring natural oils lost due to weathering. Dries to a natural semi-matt finish.

Please Note: Cuprinol Teak Oil is only suitable for use on bare or previously oiled wooden garden furniture. This product does not provide UV protection so therefore the wood will naturally turn grey / silver over time. For added UV protection consider Cuprinol Ultimate Furniture Oil Spray.

Ensure that wooden garden furniture to be treated is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and any other surface contaminants.

1. Any previous stains should be removed back to bare wood by sanding or using a suitable wood stripper
2. Remove any surface dirt and soiling, large areas of algae, lichen, fungi or moss with a stiff brush or scraper
3. If the wood has been contaminated with biological growth, treat with a suitable mould and mildew cleaner
4. Fill any gaps or splits in the wood with Cuprinol All Purpose Wood Filler or Cuprinol Ultra Tough Wood Filler
5. Before oiling, prepare the garden furniture with a suitable cleaner such as Cuprinol Garden Furniture Cleaner
6. To restore the appearance of grey and weathered furniture, use Cuprinol Garden Furniture Restorer prior to oiling
7. Lightly sand or scrub the wood with a scotch pad to remove loose wood fibres

Always do a small test area before starting any project and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature or wet conditions.

1. Apply 2 light even coats of Teak Oil Spray from a distance of approximately 15cm (6")
2. Do not concentrate the spray on one spot, spray in a horizontal or vertical line across the wood surface
3. Allow 6 hours between coats, longer if the wood feels sticky
4. Allow 24 - 48 hours to fully dry before use - drying times can vary depending on the outside temperature and type of wood

After Use

After use, wipe the nozzle clean with a damp, lint-free cloth. When using again, in case of blockage, unscrew the nozzle from the spray bottle, place the dip tube into a container of clean water and spray until the water coming through the nozzle is clean.

Cleaning

Wipe down all surfaces with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove food and liquid spillages. For more stubborn stains and marks, use Cuprinol Garden Furniture Cleaner.

Please Note: Using household cleaners and detergents should be avoided as they could potentially degrade or strip the Teak Oil from the wood.

Maintenance

Garden furniture treated with Cuprinol Garden Furniture Teak Oil Spray can be easily maintained. If furniture is starting to look worn and tired, or is losing its ability to repel water, simply re-apply a fresh coat of teak oil, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
