Cuprinol Garden Furniture Restorer is perfect as a pre-treatment before oiling or staining wooden garden furniture with Cuprinol Ultimate Hardwood Furniture Oil or Cuprinol Garden Furniture Teak Oil.
Please Note: Cuprinol Furniture Restorer is only suitable for use on bare or previously oiled wooden garden furniture.
Ensure that the wooden surface to be treated with Cuprinol Garden Furniture Restorer is clean, dry and free from dirt, dust and any other surface contaminants.
Always do a test area before starting any project and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.
Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or if rain is likely before the job is complete. Protect areas around and under the furniture to be treated. This product should not be allowed to come in to contact with grass or plants as it may cause browning or die-back. If this occurs, dilute splashed areas with copious amounts of water.
Stir contents of the container thoroughly before and periodically during use to ensure a consistent finish.

Q. Can this product be used on any exterior wood that has turned grey over time?
A. Yes it can if the wood is bare wood or hasn't been oiled or treated for a number of years. This wood restorer cannot be used on wooden surfaces that have a clear varnish or other type of sealer.
Q. I want to restore the colour of a wooden window sill and door threshold before oiling, can i use this product?
A. Although this product is labelled as a garden furniture restorer, it will work perfectly well on any softwood or hardwood fixture or fitting, to restore the colour prior to treating with an exterior wood oil or varnish.
