Crown Crafted Luxurious Suede Textured Matt Emulsion is a textured emulsion that provides an enriching, suede textured finish that creates a soft, natural brushed effect. Specially formulated using a unique mixture of pigment and ground olive stones, the luxurious paint can be applied throughout your home, including living room, dining room, bedrooms and hallway, ideal for a feature wall.

Clear the surface of the project area of any contaminants such as dust, dirt or mould, ensuring the surface is dry and smooth.

• Remove any previous paint layers that are either flaking or damaged by sanding or by using a paint stripper
• Special care needs to be taken if removing pre-1960s paint surfaces as they could possibly contain harmful levels of lead
• If using a liquid cleaning product to wipe down the surface, ensure that it dries thoroughly before applying the emulsion
• Fill in imperfections such as cracks and holes with a filler suitable for the surface
• If there is a sheen on the surface then thoroughly abrade the area to enable suitably strong adhesion
• If applying to dry plaster or porous surfaces, seal the surface with paint diluted with 40% cold water. Two coats might be needed, though this is dependant on how porous the plaster is

Always start with a test area to judge suitability and finish. For ideal results it is recommended to follow the manufacturer's instructions that are printed on the container.

• Avoid applying in room temperatures below 10°C and in humid and damp conditions
• For optimum results, guarantee the paint is thoroughly mixed to ensure the pigment and the texture are thoroughly blended with the emulsion a suitable tool, such as Mako Paint Stirrer
• If more than one tin will be used then mix together to ensure a consistent texture and colour
• It is recommended to only use a brush to achieve ideal results and to produce an even distribution of the paint
• 2 coats of paint is recommended, however some colours may require additional coats for completely opaque results
• Recoatable after 4 hours drying time

Regular Cleaning

• For standard cleaning, wipe with a slightly damp, lint free cloth

Maintenance

• If looking faded after a period of time, then simply reapply another coat following the instructions above
