Overview
Ciranova Hard Floor Cleaner is a water-based cleaner designed for removing old layers of polish (Ciranova Hard Floor Polish & Ciranova Unicare X-Matt) on varnished and lacquered floors. The Hard Floor Cleaner can also be used as a degreaser for removing persistent stains and stripes on varnished floors.
Preparation
Make sure the floor is dust-free before applying Ciranova Hard Floor Cleaner.
Application
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the bottle at all times.
Removing stains and stripes:
- Dilute the cleaner 1:10 in lukewarm water
- Clean the floor with a mop, microfiber cloth or soft scrubblng brush
- After applying, clean the floor with just water
Removing layers of polish:
- Dilute the cleaner 1:5 in lukewarm water
- Clean the floor with a soft scrubbing brush or mop. You can also use a floor buffer with a green or red pad
- Allow the product to work for several minutes, ensuring the product doesn't dry up and then remove the dirt with a squeegee or mop
- Afterwards, thoroughly clean the floor with just water
Please Note: A parquet floor must never be too wet, so avoid excess water on the floor.
Aftercare
After applying the floor cleaner, you can re-apply Hard floor polish or Ciranova Unicare X-Matt on the floor. For regular maintenance of varnished floors, use Ciranova Hard Floor Fresh.
