BEDEC MSP Multi Surface Paint is a high quality, water-based paint suitable for both interior and exterior surfaces such as: timber, MDF, plastic, UPVC, concrete, brickwork, radiators, tiles, fibreglass, galvanised steel and much more. It can be applied over previously painted or varnished surface, including those coated with weathered bitumen, tar or creosote.
Looking for a high protection, multi-surface exterior coating? Use Bedec Barn Paint
Please note: Substrates which have had water-repellent preservative treatments applied should be avoided because adhesion could be compromised.
To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease and chalky residue. Sand all edges of remaining coating until smooth.
Always do a test area before starting any project to test product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.
Do not apply at temperatures below 8°C or when rain is likely. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
When applying to new wood, untreated weathered wood, brickwork, cement, render, plaster or any porous substrate, the first coat should be thinned using 30% clean water.
Clean brushes, rollers and any spillages immediately after use, using warm soapy water.
Although this product is extremely durable it can not be used under foot on decking or flooring, instead consider a decking or floor paint.
Please allow to fully dry for 4 hours between coat and before use during average temperatures of 18°C and 65% relative humidity. This is fully cured after one month.
On untreated weathered wood, new wood, cement, render, plaster, brick work or any porous substrate the first coat should be thinned with 30% clean water.
Pressure treated timber should be weathered for at least six months prior to painting. After this period, the timber should be cleaned off, degreased and the MSP Paint can be applied
